about me!
Hello! I'm Allison and I'm currently a Junior at UIUC studying Information Sciences with a focus in UI/UX Design!
I'm a product designer driven by curiosity and a love for figuring out how things work (and how they could work better). I'm especially interested in the messy space where people, technology, and business needs meet, turning complex problems into experiences that actually make sense.
Lately, I've also been pushing myself beyond Figma, experimenting with new tools, learning to build, and occasionally breaking things along the way. For me, design is all about staying curious, trying something new, and hopefully making someone's life a little easier in the process.

Psi Eta Mu
I served as PR Director for the nation's first and only Information Sciences + Data Sciences Professional Fraternity, where I helped connect students across the technical space and cultivate a culture that was both supportive and ambitious.
Hack4Impact
I served as a Product Designer and later Product Manager for Hack4Impact, a student-run organization that builds technology for nonprofits, where I helped translate real operational challenges into intuitive, scalable products and led cross-functional teams to bring them to life.

Trying new foods
My favorite tart place! It's local to my university, and it's the first place I ever tried tarts. Genuinely the best ever!
Coloring Books
Over winter break this past year, I couldn't crochet at home, so I tried coloring! I'm not the best at art so it gave me more structure to practice art!
Traveling
I got the chance to visit NYC IBM office this summer and this is the view from the building on the 28th floor!
Baking
My friends and I baked mini jellycat themed cakes! It's a goal of mine to try baking new pastries this year, like sourdough bread!
Shrinky Dinks
I love making gifts for friends and this was also something I discovered this past winter break! Really easy, cheap and thoughtful gifts for my friends!
Blind Boxes
I love collecting mystery figurines and decorating my room with them! This was a unique blind box I found in LA with the cutest plush keychains!
Concerts
This is a picture from when I got to see Laufey in Chicago! The memories I make at concerts make the songs I got to hear live more meaningful!
